Credits and billing

Everything in BitAssure is paid for in credits: runs, recording, and load tests. Credits are prepaid, so a balance never goes below zero. Nothing is billed after the fact, and a pipeline or a schedule can never spend more than the account holds.

A failed run is charged: it measured something, usually the thing you most needed to know. An error measured nothing, so it is never charged. The page for a journey shows what a run will cost before you start it.

Prices are before tax. Choose your country on the pricing page or the Credits page to see the total with your country's tax. Credits are bought in tens: 10, 50, 100 or any multiple of 10.

Monthly credits' included credits reset each month: what is left of them is replaced by the next month's 150. Credits you bought on top never expire, and included credits are spent first.

Free credits

Every new account starts with 50 free credits. Free credits are spent before bought ones, last 30 days, and are never refunded as money. Credits given as goodwill are free credits too.

Buying

Go to Settings → Credits. Payment is taken by Paddle, our merchant of record, in a form shown on the page. Your card details go to Paddle and never reach BitAssure. Paddle's name is on the receipt and on your card statement.

Each payment emails the account's owners a receipt. Each paid line on the Credits page has a Receipt button for the tax invoice. See all activity lists every credit in and out, filterable by kind and month.

Monthly credits

• Switch to Monthly credits on the Credits page. It renews each month on the same date.
• Cancel Monthly credits stops it at the end of the month you have paid for. You keep the included credits until then, and the account goes back to pay as you go. Keep Monthly credits undoes a cancellation before it takes effect.
• A new card can be added from the same page.

Refunds

Within 14 days of a payment, an owner can press Refund on its line in the activity list. You get back the unused share of what you bought, less the fee Paddle keeps on a refund, which the dialog shows as a sum before you confirm. The credits leave the account at once.

• Free credits are never refunded as money.
• A refund is not possible while a run or recording is going on.
• One refund per account every 90 days.
• Refunding a month of Monthly credits ends the subscription.
